Patricio Cano, currently performing his PhD in the biofiltration group at University of Cadiz (UCA), will stay for two months at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in the GENOCOV research group in the benchmark of the project MICROBIOFIN "Monitoring, modelling and control towards the optimization of anoxic and aerobic desulfurazing biotrickling filters", a coordinated project among UCA, UAB and UPC.

Patricio stay will serve as a starting point to perform a Life Cycle Analysis that will permit the comparison of the desulfurization technologies under study (anoxic and aerobic) the most conventional processes most frequently employed for biogas desulfurization such as absorption in packed bed towers.
