The 6th international conference on BioTechniques for Air Pollution Control covered a wide range of topics related to the application of environmental biotechnology for air pollution control, treatment processes in bioreactors and clean biofuels production. Some of the topics that were discussed are:

- Treatment for air pollution: use of bacteria, fungi, algae and plants.
- Bioreactors for air pollution control and bioconversion processes.
- Prevention of air pollution: production and development of biofuels, such as biohydrogen, biodiesel, bioethanol, biogas or desulfurized fuels.
