The PhD Students, Luis López, Clara Reino, Gabriela Montiel and Carlos Ramos will present their work in the 7th European Meeting on Chemical Industry and Environment, which will take place in Tarragona during 10-12 June 2015.
The European Meeting of Chemical Industry and Environment (EMChIE) stands as a reference meeting point for bringing together industrial and academic people to discuss the current problems and recent developments concerning the relationship between the chemical industry and the environment. The main topics covered with this meeting will be waste water treatment, air pollution control and abatement, waste to energy and chemicals and simulation in environmental engineering among others.
The research that will be presented by GENOCOV students are related with the effect of pH variation on PHA production in sequential batch reactors, modeling of biogas desulfurization in biotrickling filters and two-step biological nitrogen removal based on the coupling of partial nitrification to anammox process.
Moreover, EMChIE 2014 offers to the best 10 contributions per each journal thematic issue the possibility of publishing them as full papers in three impacted international journals as follows.
