Clément Flayac from Laboratoire des biotechnologie de l’environnementl (France, Narbonne) will be staying for 3 months at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as an internship student.
Flayac Clément is a PhD student at University of Montpellier. He works on bioelectrochemical systems and more specifically on the link between electricity generation performances and the structure of microbial consortia allowing the conversion of volatile fatty acids into electrical current.
Within the Agreenium programme frame work, he intends to be part of GENOCOV’s research group aiming at improving her laboratory scale experiences and her academic knowledge about chemical engineering for three months. He will be working on microbial fuel cells and microbial electrolysis cells.
