Aina Soler-Jofra from Delft University of Technology (Delft, The Netherlands) will be staying at least for 1 year and 6 months at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as a visiting PhD student.
Aina Soler-Jofra is PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology. She started the PhD in the Environmental Biotechnology Group in Delft focusing on the role of hydroxylamine on abiotic N2O emissions and in the anammox process. As part of her PhD project, she is aiming to be part of GENOCOV’s research group focusing on the study of the role of hydroxylamine in other nitrogen cycle microorganisms, such as ammonium oxidizing bacteria and nitrite oxidizing bacteria.
