SHORT SUMMARY OF SCIENTIFIC LIFE
Laia López Fernández (Barcelona, 1992) is dregreed in Chemistry (Universitat de Barcelona, 2017) and MScs in Analytical Chemistry (Universitat de Barcelona, 2018) entitled “Untargeted lipidomic study of carrot plants exposed to glyphosate” with chemometric approach. During her degree she has a practice period in Toxicology department of Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, performing drugs, metals, antiretrovirals and antipsychotic analysis. She is currently a PhD student in Chemistry and her research is based on the development of new composites for environmental and clinical applications. Along with the doctoral thesis, she is carrying out teaching tasks at the Department of Analytical Chemistry in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
