SHORT SUMMARY OF SCIENTIFIC LIFE
Daniel González Alé (Montornès del Vallès, Barcelona, 1989) studied Chemical Engineering at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Currently, he is a PhD student in Environmental Science and Technology and his research is focused on the knowledge and characterisation of different waste and wastewater treatment plants off-gasses. He will also study the odour impact of these emissions.
The topic of his PhD research, started in 2016, is Study on the gaseous emissions in waste and wastewater treatment plants. He is supervised by Dr. David Gabriel Buguña (GENOCOV group, UAB), Dr. Antoni Sánchez Ferrer (GICOM group, UAB) and Dr. Joan Colón Jordà (UVIC).
Daniel’s current research interests are:
- Understanding different waste and wastewater treatment plants.
- Characterisation of gaseous emissions.
- Odour impact assessment.
